Workday Financials Functional Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional activities for Workday Financials implementation projects.
• Understand business requirements through client discussions and workshops.
• Design and recommend suitable ERP solutions and standard processes.
• Prepare functional requirements, process documents, and solution designs.
• Support ERP configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Work with technical teams on integrations, reports, and system interfaces.
• Prepare training materials and support user training.
• Manage project activities and coordinate with clients and project teams.
• Support issue resolution and ensure timely project delivery.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of relevant experience; maximum 20 years.
• Strong experience in Workday Financials.
• Experience in functional solution architecture.
• Experience with cloud-based Finance ERP implementation.
• At least 1–2 full lifecycle ERP implementations.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes and accounting principles.
• Experience managing projects or functional teams.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Workday Financials certification is an advantage.
• PMP or CPA certification is an advantage.
• Consulting experience is preferred.
