Tahoma AI | tahoma.io | Austin, TX or Seattle, WA (ONSITE optional) | REMOTE (US) | Full-time | Founding Engineer Tahoma builds AI agents that automate healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM): eligibility, claim status, claim submission, denials, and payment posting. We're live in production with paying enterprise customers. Our agents operate payer portals behind MFA, green-screen terminals over SSH, and Windows desktop software, where some actions are irreversible. They run on a deterministic orchestration layer we built in-house, with model calls as bounded steps, not the control loop. Stack: TypeScript/Node.js, Playwright, computer-use agents, Claude, Postgres, Azure, K8s. You'll get to own the core platform end to end and make the real architecture calls: resilience to portal changes, exactly-once guarantees, observability, and cost per run. Team: Founder from AWS, the former UnitedHealthcare CIO, advisors from Microsoft Research and Shopify's AI team, and a remote engineering team in-flight.
