WHAT YOU'LL DO
The MongoDB Database Administrator (DBA) role is part of the Platform Engineering division within Infrastructure and is responsible for operating, scaling, and securing our internal MongoDB platform. This position supports a growing fleet of MongoDB clusters that back product-critical features, internal systems, and distributed services.
This role partners closely with SREs, application engineers, and the platform security team to ensure MongoDB clusters are performant, resilient, compliant, and well-automated. Our clusters run on a modern Kubernetes-based infrastructure and are managed through GitOps and infrastructure-as-code practices. The DBA will help evolve and mature the platform, support backup and disaster recovery strategies, and assist engineers in designing efficient, durable MongoDB usage.
