We're looking for an innovative Security Analyst to join our Information Security team. In this role, you'll help drive Rover's vulnerability management program and day-to-day security operations — identifying and prioritizing risk across our corporate SaaS systems and AWS-hosted cloud applications, and working to remediate it before it becomes a problem. You'll use Splunk and other tooling to make our monitoring, detection, and investigation work faster and more effective, and you'll look for ways to apply AI and automation to eliminate manual toil across security operations and vulnerability management. You'll work alongside dedicated technical and non-technical professionals who make Rover.com the world's leading platform for pet care services, and you'll be expected to stay ahead of the curve on emerging security threats, standards, and technologies. This is a hybrid position that has the minimum expectation to work out of our Downtown Seattle Office two days per week on Mondays and Thursdays. For this reason, candidates must be based in the Greater Seattle Area or willing to relocate.

Your responsibilities: Own and mature Rover's vulnerability management program: identify, prioritize, track, and drive remediation of vulnerabilities across corporate SaaS systems and AWS-hosted cloud applications Support day-to-day security operations, including monitoring, triage, and investigation of security alerts and incidents Build and refine Splunk searches, dashboards, and alerts that improve the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of security monitoring and investigations Identify and implement opportunities to use AI and automation to increase the efficiency of security operations, vulnerability management, and compliance reporting Work cross-functionally to prepare documentation and evidence for audits and regulatory frameworks (SOX, PCI, GDPR, CCPA) Evaluate existing security plans, processes, and procedures, and propose enhancements Develop analyses and reports on historical and potential security incidents, including root cause and busin
