PLC Software Engineer

Location: Jurong West/ West Region/ site

Working days: 5 days

Salary Package: Basic + Allowance + OT Pay + Bonus

Responsibilities

-

Lead SCADA/PLC/DCS projects from concept and design through programming, testing, and commissioning.

-

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on control system design and process flow.

-

Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs.

-

Resolve electrical design and software issues with assembly and debugging teams.

-

Lead, coach, and supervise Control and Electrical Engineers.

-

Apply industrial communication protocols including Ethernet, Profinet, Profibus, and Modbus.

-

Work with PLC/HMI platforms such as Siemens, Omron, Allen-Bradley, and WinCC.

-

Oversee project documentation for new and refurbishment projects.

-

Independently conduct testing and commissioning locally and overseas.

-

Coordinate resources to meet project and service timelines.

-

Support IT/OT and IQ/OQ/PQ activities for new projects.

-

Travel locally and overseas as required and perform other assigned duties.
