Brighton Automotive (part of Tony White Group) is the leading multi-franchise group throughout Australia. Specialising in offering quality vehicles from established brands, our team is always committed to providing an unparalleled automotive experience for our customers. We are currently looking to recruit multiple experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join our teams throughout Brighton VIC.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess
- Removing rough spots on vehicle panels
- Sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders
- Masking areas not to be painted with tape and paper
- Color matching and mixing paints to match paint shades, and selecting pre-mixed paint
- Applying primer and finishing coats using spray-guns, and sanding surfaces between coats
- Touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicles
- Removing masking papers, and waxing and polishing finished paintwork
- Painting signs and artwork on vehicles
- Treating vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals

- Process-oriented logical thinker
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail
- Bring a positive attitude to work.
- Meeting Body & Paint standards.
- Maintain Quality standards and minimize re-work.
- Finish all jobs in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing
At least 3 years experience
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience.
Multiple Full-time Position available.
