What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ASC 606, driving significant process improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency in revenue accounting and developing future team members. This role will report to the Director, Technical Revenue Accounting and play a key role in supporting CoreWeave’s growth and financial reporting processes. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of our revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 and our internal accounting policies. You will also contribute to the growth of the company through involvement in the drafting of sales contracts. In this role you will:
- Review and approve sales contracts before execution to ensure compliance with ASC 606, identify potential accounting issues and provide guidance to the Sales team on deal structures.
- Partner with Deal Desk, Sales, Legal, FP&A, Product Management, Business Systems and GL Accounting teams to assess complexities or custom terms in contracts and develop solutions.
- Develop and maintain revenue policies and procedures to ensure accurate and consistent accounting treatment.
- Thoroughly review and document executed sales contracts from a technical revenue perspective and provide clear accounting guidance to the Revenue Accounting team to ensure compliance and accurate revenue recognition.
- Prepare position papers when necessary to clearly communicate new policies or address complex topics as they arise.
- Assist in the creation and execution of SOX internal controls over our revenue accounting processes.
- Assist with external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and technical accounting memos.
