Here’s what this particular role covers. 🛠️ About our Fleet Operations Team Our Fleet Operations Team is responsible for maintaining the safety, performance, and operational readiness of Wayve's autonomous vehicle fleet — from routine servicing and diagnostics to urgent repairs and vehicle readiness for high-visibility events. The team keeps our fleet in peak condition to support testing, demonstrations, and real-world deployment, working closely with engineering, drivers, and operations teams to keep autonomy moving forward, every single day. 🧠 Your day-to-day If you're passionate about quality and continuous improvement, this role offers the opportunity to ensure the effectiveness of training programs, materials and delivery methods, while working closely with teams to uphold operating standards and support professional development. 🧩 What you’ll be working on Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements. Maintain training records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Conduct regular assessments of operating standards across teams and individuals to ensure they meet quality standards and objectives. Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources. Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify areas for improvement in training content, delivery and operating standards. Monitor and analyse training metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Develop and oversee the implementation of quality assurance processes for training programs and operating standards. In conjunction with Team Leads, assist with staff professional development and course completion. Interact with cross-functional stakeholders to understand training requirements for future business needs e.g. growth of commercial operations. 🙌 You should apply if Essential: You hold a full, clean Japan driving licence, with at least 8 years' driving experience (mainly in Japan), and no blameworthy insurance claims in the past three years. You remain calm and controlled in a pressured environment. You take feedback on board and learn from mistakes, with a growth mindset toward your own development. You enjoy working with people and thrive in a team environment. You know how to manage your wellbeing, including fatigue and stress, with proven personal strategies. You have proven experience as a team coordinator or similar role. You have strong leadership and communication skills — 1:1, with your team, and with stakeholders upward and laterally.
