Credit Control Specialist

<p><strong>Be part of the movement - and play your part.</strong></p><p><strong>In This Role, You Will</strong></p><p><span>As a</span> Customer Credit Control team is looking for a colleague who will be responsible for managing customer receivables, monitoring collection processes, assessing credit risks and ensuring the effective execution of credit control processes.</p><p>This role will work closely with customers, Sales teams, Finance functions, banks and international teams, contributing to the effective management of the company’s financial risks.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p><span>Covering accounts for major international clients,</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Communicating periodically, both in writing and in person with counterparts</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Reconciling account balances and following up on settlements</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Daily monitoring of overdue receivables and preparing aging reports,</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Sharing foresight with other Finance functions as per invoicing, revenue assurance, cash flow planning and bad debt management</span></p></li><li><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Working in sync with Business Operations, Sales and Customer Services regarding the clients under coverage</span></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li><p><span>Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related fields,</span></p></li><li><p><span>At least 2 years of experience in a similar position,</span></p></li><li><p><span>Formal diction, high representation,</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong communication and negotiation skills,</span></p></li><li><p><span>Analytical Problem-Solving thinking</span></p></li><li><p><span>Capable of quick follow-up and control, results-oriented,</span></p></li><li><p><span>Fluency in English (both written and spoken),</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proficiency in Excel, experience with SAP will be a major plus.</span></p></li></ul><p><strong>Working at DFDS<br></strong><span>Join the movement and grow with us.</span><br><br><span>While you’re with us, we want you to develop.
