Class 1 HGV Driver - Days

If so, you could be the newest addition to our team as a Class 1 HGV Driver.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Be part of the movement – and play your part.</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>About the role</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal">As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, carrying out both deliveries and collections using our modern fleet. You'll represent DFDS on the road and at customer sites, providing a high standard of service while ensuring all journeys are completed safely and on schedule.</p><p class="MsoNormal">You will be responsible for:</p><ul><li><p>Ensure all delivery notes are signed upon delivery.</p></li><li><p>Adhere to all road transport regulations at all times.</p></li><li><p>Deliver chilled, produce, and ambient goods to customer premises.</p></li><li><p>Accurately record all activities in line with legal and company requirements.</p></li><li><p>Comply with European Drivers’ Hours regulations.</p></li><li><p>Work within the requirements of the Working Time Directive.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all loads are secured safely and appropriately.</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>About you</strong></p><p>You will hold a full HGV Class 1 licence and have a valid Tacho Card as well as a current CPC qualification. You will possess good English communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to complete documentation accurately and interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
