Coupang Play is an OTT video streaming service. We offer a wide range of content, including Original Series, TV Shows, Movies, and Sports.
We are in the business of delivering exceptional storytelling. We produce award-winning scripted and unscripted Original Series, such as “Boyhood”, “Anna”, and “SNL Korea”. We believe Sports can also be elevated by creative storytelling. Play is now an authoritative destination for Sports, broadcasting K-League, La Liga, Bundesliga, F1, NFL, and other leading leagues and tournaments. Our teams keep optimizing how customers discover and stream both VOD and Live content. That includes investments in frontend, backend, and infrastructural developments. Role Overview
Strategic Talent Partner will partner with business leaders to develop and implement business people strategies; support business goals and initiatives by ensuring relevant people capabilities and organizational effectiveness based on business understanding. This role will provide coaching, direction and counsel to people managers and business leaders as well as all levels of employees to proactively anticipate, prevent and resolve people issues.
What You Will Do
- Lead and execute core HRBP activities across employee relations, talent management, employee engagement, and HR operations.
- Own and resolve complex employee issues and escalations, partnering closely with Legal, Compliance, Employee Relations, and other stakeholders as required.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on HR policies and practices, ensuring effective localization and implementation across subsidiary businesses where needed.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance, coaching, and support across the employee lifecycle.
- Analyze people-related trends and metrics, identifying insights and driving appropriate actions and solutions.
- Maintain strong knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements, mitigating risk and ensuring compliance in partnership with Legal and HR Compliance teams.
