As a Store Leader, you will lead a large-format retail store of 10,000–13,000 square metres, managing a team of approximately 120 employees. You'll drive strategic and operational excellence, inspire high-performing teams, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and ensure the store achieves its commercial objectives while maintaining the highest standards of performance, efficiency, and compliance.</span></p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Manage day-to-day store operations, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with company standards</p></li><li><p>Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets</p></li><li><p>Maintain a clean, organised, and inspiring store environment that reflects Leroy Merlin’s brand values</p></li><li><p>Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing, collaborative team</p></li><li><p>Conduct regular performance reviews and support ongoing career development</p></li><li><p>Foster a culture of engagement, motivation, and continuous improvement</p></li><li><p>Analyse sales performance and implement strategies to drive results</p></li><li><p>Champion a customer-first culture with consistently high service standards</p></li><li><p>Use market trends and customer insights to identify growth opportunities</p></li><li><p>Oversee store P&L, including budgets, costs, and resource allocation</p></li><li><p>Monitor financial performance and implement corrective action where needed</p></li><li><p>Improve profitability through effective cost control and commercial initiatives</p></li><li><p>Maintain optimal stock levels while minimising shrinkage</p></li><li><p>Work closely with supply chain and merchandising teams to ensure stock availability</p></li><li><p>Conduct regular stock audits and ensure compliance with policies</p></li><li><p>Ensure full compliance with company policies, regulations, and local legislation</p></li><li><p>Implement and maintain strong health and safety standards across the store</p></li><li><p>Drive loss prevention initiatives to protect company assets</p></li><li><p>Act as a brand ambassador within the local community</p&
