The role of the data team is to make this possible by treating data like a production asset, making it available company-wide, and using it proactively to empower smarter decisions for teams and users. By joining us as a Data Engineer, you will have a pivotal role in large projects, bringing your data modelling and engineering expertise to help us meet our high delivery standards. HOW you will contribute to the company As a Data Engineer, you will join the Self Service Analytics team, which is part of our data engineering community (20+ people) within our dynamic Data department (50+ people). You will collaborate with data analysts to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable models and data services that support making data-driven decision across the company. You will model data as a product and shape how it is structured in our data lake across our medallion architecture for all Pennylaners to consume. You will build and maintain our data analytics platform, handling data ingestion, validation and establishing data as a core part of our production systems. You will contribute
