Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

Our client is an established civil and infrastructure contractor with a growing portfolio of local and overseas projects. They are seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to support tendering, cost management and contract administration for M&E works.

Responsibilities

• Manage M&E quantity surveying duties across tendering, pre-contract and post-contract stages.
• Review tender documents, conduct quantity take-offs, prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) and cost estimates.
• Support subcontractor sourcing, tender evaluation and procurement.
• Manage contracts and subcontracts, including progress claims, variation orders and payment assessments.
• Verify claims from subcontractors and suppliers, and monitor project costs and commercial matters.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on contractual and commercial issues.
• Maintain accurate cost records and contract documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant M&E Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience in tendering, cost estimation, subcontract administration and post-contract management.
• Experience in civil, infrastructure, building or M&E contracting projects will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with quantity measurement, contract administration and variation claims.
• Able to manage QS responsibilities independently and work effectively with project teams.
• Experience in a QS consultancy environment will be an advantage.
