This is not a Business Analyst or BI position–it is a hands-on, process-driven role with a strong impact on daily operations.</span></p><p><span><strong>About the role:</strong></span></p><p><span>As a Master Data Specialist, you will collaborate with local business units and cross-functional teams across multiple countries. Your main responsibility will be to <strong>create, maintain, and ensure the quality of product data</strong> for DFDS duty-free shops on board vessels and in ports. You will also help improve Master Data processes by <strong>identifying gaps, suggesting improvements, and supporting standardisation efforts.</strong> Your work will directly influence operational efficiency and customer experience.</span></p><p><span><strong>What you will do:</strong></span></p><p><span><strong>Daily operational tasks</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Create, maintain, and update product records in DFDS system</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure accuracy and consistency of pricing, units of measure, and categorisation</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support bulk updates, data clean-up, and product standardisation</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong>Data quality & analysis</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Work with large datasets in Excel using functions such as XLOOKUP, MAX IF, TRIM, ROUND, LEN, LEFT, and RIGHT</span></p></li><li><p><span>Validate pricing updates, compare datasets, and identify inconsistencies</span></p></li><li><p><span>Investigate issues raised by onboard teams and Category Managers</span></p></li><li><p><span>Identify root causes and escalate to technical team where needed</span>&
