Lorry Driver (2-month Full Time Contract)

Job Description

• 2-month Contract, 6-day Work Week (Mon-Sat)
• Safely transport company workers, products, tools and materials to and from designated locations in a timely manner.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of tools, products and materials when required.
• Plan and adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion and roadworks.
• Provide estimated arrival and departure times when travelling between sites.
• Ensure the company vehicle is parked only in authorised areas to avoid parking fines or towing.
• Promptly report any traffic offences, summonses or fines incurred while using the company vehicle.
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the company vehicle through regular cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Report any accidents, injuries, vehicle damage or mechanical issues to Management immediately.
• Carry out other reasonable duties related to driving, logistics and operations as required.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
• Maintain a good driving record and demonstrate safe driving habits.
• Have a sound knowledge of road safety regulations and local roads and routes.
• Be able to use GPS navigation systems and maps effectively.
• Possess basic English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Be punctual, responsible, reliable and safety conscious.
• Be physically fit and willing to assist with loading and unloading of materials when required.
• Able to work overtime
