We are looking for an engineer who can take ownership of complex backend problems, make sound architectural decisions, challenge assumptions, and build reliable systems in a domain where security, correctness, and availability matter. You will design, build, and evolve backend services powering our KYC, transaction monitoring, risk, and anti-fraud capabilities. </p><h2>Key responsibilities:</h2><ul><li><p>Designing and building reliable, scalable backend services in Go </p></li><li><p>Working on systems responsible for KYC, transaction risk assessment, and fraud prevention </p></li><li><p>Designing APIs, data models, and service boundaries </p></li><li><p>Making architectural and technical decisions with long-term maintainability in mind </p></li><li><p>Building systems that operate reliably under real production load </p></li><li><p>Improving observability, performance, resilience and operational tooling </p></li><li><p>Working closely with Product, Risk, Compliance and other engineering teams </p></li><li><p>Taking ownership from problem definition and technical design through production and operation</p></li><li><p>Reviewing designs and code and helping raise the engineering bar across the team </p></li></ul><h2>Required Experience:</h2><ul><li><p>Strong professional experience in backend engineering </p></li><li><p>Deep practical experience with Go in production </p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of distributed systems and service-oriented / microservice architectures</p></li><li><p>Experience designing and evolving APIs and backend contracts</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modelling</p></li><li><p>Experience building production systems where reliability, security and correctness are critical</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of testing strategies, observability and production operations </p></li><li><p>Ability to reason about archit
