The Team You'll Work With

• You'll be joining our Carta Law team, specifically within the Contracts - APAC function.

Our Contracts team manages the full lifecycle of commercial contracts for clients – from first review through to execution. You'll be the direct day-to-day contact for sophisticated investment fund and asset manager clients, working alongside fellow lawyers and paralegals. This team delivers high volumes of pre-M&A contract work at speed, supported by AI- backed tools including Carta's proprietary platform, Ava.

• Negotiate and manage high volumes of pre-M&A contracts – including NDAs,

confidentiality agreements, NRLs, joinders, and engagement letters – directly liaising with counterparties and adhering to agreed turnaround times

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, building trusted advisor

relationships with sophisticated investment funds and asset managers

• Maintain and update client playbooks on an ongoing basis, ensuring consistency and

quality across all contract negotiations

• Collaborate with and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals, reviewing their work and

contributing to a high-performing team culture

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Carta's legal technology suite,

identifying ways to innovate using AI-backed tools
